What can I get to kill ants?

Bug spray works great to kill ants. When I wanted to find a product that worked for ridding our kitchen of ants, I used a spray can of raid. Keep in mind, you'll have to spray all of the ants, and make sure to clean up the ant mess that they leave, but it should work reasonably well.

pit orange peals (or other citrus fruit peels) in a blender with some water and por it on the ant hill. the acid in the peels kills the ants

what I did in my house to obliterate their invasion in my house was:

Make a mixture of
1.) Sugar
2.) Borax, that laundry chemical

Then sprinkle it on the counter and leave for about 4 hours...When the ants find it, they will take both the sugar crystals and the borax to their queen, because they cannot tell the difference between the two. Since borax is poisonous, when the queen eats it, she will die, along with the whole colony.

Please, don't use this if you have inside animals (cats, dogs, rabbits) wandering the house, borax is toxic, but if you keep away from the main source of the infestation, for the time then wipe it off with soap and water, it should be fine.
