What can I do we realy do like each other

my mom has this new boyfriend he is a nice guy and every thing ....but every thing started to go wrong when I met his 17 year old son it was like love at first sight he called me and he told me how he realy feels about me we really did open up to each othere he told me everything his likes/dislikes what kind of girls like its like that I fited right there in the category so I told my mom about it and how we realy want to start dating each other .she told me that she will have to talk to her boyfriend about it but me and the guy I like talked about it we said even if they did say no that we would still try to date but I realy dont want our relationship to be a big secret what should I do I mean I realy do like this guy and I likes me to I can realy see myself in the future with him and he sees the same for me so what should I do someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! help!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the both of you are not related at all. Its not like he is your brother, cousin, or other relative.

On the other hand, if your mother marries her boyfriend, there could be some sticky questions asked by others.

Think about the ramifications of that. How would it affect your life? Perhaps the pressure of what other people think may affect you so much that it would ruin the relationship.

In the long run, either you or your mother will have to concede. Because you are younger, tell your mother how you feel about this person, and maybe she will take your future into account if you are really serious about each other as you say.
