My dad said we may be moving next year to boston because he wanted to do phd on buissnes and administration, but I have lived my whole life in chile!.. I am so nervous, is it hard to make friends in a new school? Are there different groups like in...

I've moved around a lot, and it's not nearly as bad as it is in movies. Sometimes it just takes a little while longer to make friends, that's all. But if people give you a hard time, ignore them and act like you don't care. It makes them really angry, and then usually they bug you a bit more for a little bit, but if you keep strong with it, they'll leave you alone and respect you more for it. Trust me, it works. happy

Yea, I've moved around a lot too, and I've found that the best way to make friends is to get out of your comfort zone. Talk to them and they'll talk back. Don't try to be all cool and stuff and try to get them to come to you, because then they'll think you're stuck up. Don't worry, it's a lot easier than it seems. =)

What a great opportunity !! - you'll be just fine - kids are no different from there, just be a friend and you'll have plenty - plus you'll learn so many other good things and great experiences...I wish you the very best !!
