If I was getting a degree in biology, I think there are lots of areas I could work in - biotech, hi-tech, etc. Then there are generic kind of jobs that really anybody with a degree can get - management positions, etc. Really depends on what you want to do with your time after college, that I'd say you should study for - what type of work do you see yourself wanting to do, day in & day out?
Me, I love what I do for a living & it has nothing to do with my major. I only worked in a field related to my degree for about 3 months, before switching careers & haven't looked back six years later.
Try chatting to alumni if you can also, they can be good contacts for landing jobs or internships while in school & can help give you a better feel for the type of work you'd be doing.
Hello~
I cannot really answer you question. I am 14, and OMG I love biology. Maybe you could like tell me more about it??haha I'm sorry.

What biology jobs are out there?
Send me Fun Mail
My major at the beginning of this year was Pre-Pharmacy. I just recently changed it to Biology. What jobs are out there for biology majors? I'm looking for types of jobs that don't have to have much Chemistry at all! That's definitely my weak point.
