me and brandi Asked by member68 about 1 year ago, 8 answers.

If it’s true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Send this to a friend

Help others, yes...but mainly to seek and find, individually, God's will for our lives.

Everybody else on the planet is a figment of your imagination, created by your subconcious to make you believe that you're not alone It's a theory, and one that's as provable, or credible as some religions.

Also, sometimes, it'll be you that needs help - so the others are there for those times when you can't help them, but they can help you.

This is like straight out of Anthem by Ayn Rand... We are NOT here to live for everyone else.

The Bible says (somewhere) that life is basically pointless besides to worship and give the glory to God! God has a special calling for all of us. He did put others on earth to help and have fellowship with and of course, so we wouldn't be lonely! But we are all here for God in the end.

I blieve that we should treat anyone else the way we would like to be treated.. example if I was being verbally abused, it would make me upset and lack in confidence.. therefore I wouldnt do the same to you because I know how it would make you feel. and we all come from adam and eve so were all one big family realy.. in adition life is a test by god to see what you will do with your life and we have free will so we do and act as we please nobody lives for others exept them selves, in the final analysis we will be judged by our OWN actions not for others!

The others are here to help you and the others too. We are all here because God decided we should be here. We are here to live and grow, to learn to love God and others, to praise God for his goodness. What more do we need?

WE are here because God gave us life... what we do with it, is our gift back to him.. He is choosing a people that will love him and follow his ways... he offers the gift of eternal life to whosoever will, but, many will reject that offer, in spite of all his efforts to try to persuade them. That is their choice, he gave man freewill, and he will never force himself on anyone.. He gave us his word, to live by, and his spirit, to empower us, to do his will, once we find in the word what that will is. He gave us his Son, to redeem us, he gave us the ability to bring forth new life, and to train it in the ways of the Lord. Our children are gifts from him, and he has entrusted us with their wellbeing, and he expects us to raise them up to know and serve him... we are to be a people who love him and follow him, we should be very different from the world.. One should not have to ask or doubt if we are a Christian, everything about us should radiate his glory. The way we dress, the way we act, where we go, what we do, how we do it, all reflects back to who we are, and what we stand for. We are to be light in a dark world, we should have answers, when someone inquires as to our faith, and why we believe... we should always be willing to help, and not turn any away that are needy, if it lays within our power to help, whether financially or spiritually. We are to share what we have with others, our assets and our understanding..God oringinally intended that the Jews would share his goodness with all mankind, but, they missed the mark, so, now, he brought his salvation to all of us, and we are to share with others...and in this, he is glorified. We are to be a peculiar people, set apart, to serve him. He said, if you love me, obey my commands...we are judged by his word, and whether or not we obeyed it in this life, or if we followed our own way. This life as we know it, will one day pass away, and all things will become brand new... he actually has a brand new world for believers to live in.. with him in the center of it... our lives now.. determine where we will go when we leave this world. The choice is ours, the way is before us, it is sometimes crooked, and rocky, but, he is always there to rescue us, if we call. He has been this way before and he knows how to lead us. He will bring us safely thru, if we keep our eyes upon him. Multitudes in the valley of decision... Today is the day of salvation, harden not your hearts...We are not promised a tommorrow.. Many who we never expected to leave, already have... there are no gurantees... open your heart to him, and ask him to come in, and forgive you of all your sins, and cleanse you and make you brand new. He can and he will, he responds to faith. He is spirit. and he is love.
God Bless...
