What are your hobbies? My mom seems depressed, and keeps saying she needs a new hobbie. Me and her ride horses a lot... But thats all. I think she needs more friends.

Yeah I would reccomend music. Its NEVER too late to learn an instrument.
and I firmly believe there is an instrument to suit everyone.

Encourage her to take a class or start attending religious services. She may just need some peers to talk to.

Paintballing is really fun...

Why dont she just find something she likes but doesnt really know anything about and learn about it.

therightald... sorry hun, but I think your insane. not everyone has an instrument they like. some people don't even like music. thanks for the advice, but I don't think your thawt smart
