What do you call a person that believes in God, not Jesus??

Uhm... it depends... some are muslims, some are jewish, (and the list goes on for every religion in the world that doesnt believe in christ)... deists are people who dont feel the need for organized religion, so some are deists. Anyone who believes in atleast one god is a theist...

The question is a little vague in the 'Jesus' department. Are you talking about not believing that he's the son of God? Or not believing he ever even existed?

If you think there is some kind of god thingy out there, but don't know what it's like, then you're a theist.

But my guess is you probably have some ideas about this god thingy. You probably believe it created the universe, you probably think there is just 1 god thingy out there, you probably believe this god thingy provides some kind of an afterlife?

If so, then you're god ideas were likely formed by the general Christian society around you, and you're probably in the category known as liberal Christian. These are the 50% who answer Christian on census forms because they don't know how else to classify themselves, but for whom religion plays no significant role in their life outside weddings and funerals - or perhaps church attendance on Easter and Christmas.

Muslims believe, that Jesus was one of the mightiest messengers of God that he was the Christ, that he was born miraculously without any male intervention (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today), that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and that he healed those born blind and the lepers by God's permission. In fact, no Muslim is a Muslim if he or she does not believe in Jesus!

christian if you have exepted god in your heart and you asked for forgiveness when you lie or disobey you are called a christian like me but god is the father the sun and the holy spirit but god and jesus is one person that is what it says in the bible they are each others father and each others son I think of it as it being one person with a name and a nick name think of it that way it is not against the law to not be a muslim a jew a christian a jew or a butist so it dosnt really matter ask your parents too they might know

to be honest that would be normal and would be no name for it because if you believe in god then you believe in Jesus. God is a spirit and if you were to look at him he would be very bright at with Jesus he would be a human of course.

I suppose you would call them religious.
