Elementary school: grade 1 - grade 5
Middle school: grade 6 - 8
High school: grade 9 - 12 (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior)
ah interesting...now I know how yank (american) skoolz work
well if anyone is wandering how our auz school works its like this:
pri-primary - year 6 or 7 (primary school) (in year 7 you get called the senior of the school)
year 7/8 -year 12 (high school)(in year 8 and 9 your juniors , year 10 your a junior senior , year 11 your a senior junior and year 12 your a senior)
whats the school system in pommyland? (england)
Oh, I remember those years when being the senior of the school actually mattered.
yeah I go to this school where you get year one to year ten and theyre adding year eleven and twelve soon, and the year sevens are really subdued instead of outgoing like they should be- us year nines rule the school
the year tens just ignore everything
its not a heatlthy environment to be in for a primary schooler
I have no idea I dont get it im just in year 9 lol
Reception
Year 1-6 primary school
Year 7-11 Secondary School
Year 12-13 6th Form

What are the order of years in american schools?
Send me Fun Mail
like in Australia we just go from year one to year seven (or six), for primary school, then year sever or eight to year welve is high school. and we have some middle schools that go from about year seven to ten.
But whats the order in America? And what are your highschool years called? In what order to they come?
