Hmm... I think your appendix is more to the side than under the belly button. My aunt just got her appendix taken out and they didn't do a blood test they went did a cat scan to make sure it was her appendix. She was up all night with severe pain and finally went to the ER. Usually doctors can detect whether or not it is appendicitis when you tell him how you feel and by examining the abdomen. But then again, some doctors make a mistake. You might just try going to the ER again, maybe a different on? If it has been more than a couple of days its probably not your appendix because it probably would have burst by now.
You might have a cyst on your ovary? if its below your belly button.
