What are birthmarks?

I know what they are, but what do they mean??

Ummm, they don't mean anything. They're just distinguishable traits that you're born with. It doesn't necessarily have to be a black dot. I know a kid who's birth mark is a particularly hairy thigh. And we're talking about a totally hairless baby here.

Very often a birth mark will relate to an area of trauma from previous lives. For example, if you were stabbed in a past time, you may have a birthmark at that spot, itis not always related to past events, it can also be a simple case of genetics.The other major type of birthmark is chosen for perfection of the soul,as in some disfigeration. This may be chosen when a soul wants to work through the social stigma of having an imperfection.
