Hey whales are very sacred in my grandfather's culture...the Maori culture if New zealand..I think if you watched theWHale Rider you'll get it...but I didn't know they had magical powers in their horns...in my gradfather's culture the whales brought us from a place called Hawaikii...anyways a whale with a horn???

I saw that movie... it was depressing. Too bad Keisha Castle-Hughes had to go get knocked up before furthering her acting career.

Speaking of the Maori... could you mail me a 'taiaha' and a 'greenstone mere' ?? Me wants for my weapon collection...

***do you know how to use one ***

Yes... Okinawans have weapons training with boat oars, which is what the taiahas originated from (boat oar used as weapon). The only difference is taiahas have the pointy-stabby part on the other end, which is easy to compensate for.

Oh yeah hahah that's true wowww...okinawan's have close ties to the pacific kingdoms...culturely also through intermarriage...I don't know maybe this may have contributed to that knowledge...yes a boat oar...pretty smart aye lol...we pacific islanders are pretty big on our waka's rowing boat tradition..maybe one day when I go there I'll train for rowing competitions...I don't know how to use a taiaha ...no one ever taught me...hehe...poor grandpa gone to soon...he'd know how to use one...he knows everything about the maori culture...but I guess if you know what your doing you'll be okay...though can't imagine you using one in Texas lol...
