I retired 22 years Fed, service (Air Force and FAA) and I throughly enjoyed my 12 years USAF - my opinion, overall, draws the sharpest and is very much like civilian life - any branch, I'd recommend getting a guaranteed career field that sets you up for when you get out - anything with computers or electronics or Air Traffic Control are excellent (ATC average salary now is 128k per yr)...I wish you the best !!

I thought women could serve in combat situations. In any case the military are honored more then any other group in America. You also will learn great job skills.
