Is this self-mutilation?

about 2 years ago I accidently cut my the side of my finger and I scraped the skin off with my nail,I statred doing it more and more and I realy really like it,I like the way the skin is all pink and bloody underneath and no matter how much it hurts I cant seem to stop..is this self mutilation? if it is what should I do?

I used to do the same thing and then 1 day my best friend asked me about it so I told her
her response was to pull out all of the negative things in my life and any emotionally problem I had. and I really worked. if I were you id try it it worked for me
and just feel better about your self. if you want you can ask a friend to help you stop

yesss it is self-mutilation. and it can become a very strong addiction, just like drugs or alcohol and what not. most people don't realize that, but get help before it gets to bad.

I don't know if you are still doing this, but it is self-mutilation and like lovelies said it is an addiction and not something to fool around with. If you can control it now you won't be able to if it goes on. It's hard to tell someone so pick someone you trust. But if you are still doing this, get help.
