I am one of the top welders of my class out of the entire class my friend and I are the best from what the teacher said and when the entire class has to stay inside and work on bookwork he lets us go out and weld when we feel like welding and it doesnt affect our grade so I beleve I will get scolar ships to pay for equipment/ tools

listen Hun I am a female welder and I make ove 35$ an hr more like 60$ when I include the package. you dont need to be certified in anything.the jobs will give you a welding test to see if you can weld they will either x-ray the weld or do a bend test you need to know how to mig stick and tig plate tube and pipe and you can pretty much pick where you wanna go in life! miller welding school and hobart are the best but really any good welder and teach you the proper way if you know the basics! And trust me If you are a good welder its easy to get a job!
