Weird problems with my cell phone and voice mail, ideas?

Okay, so.
My dad turned my phone off like a long time ago.
Anytime someone would call or I would call my voicemail it would sat, 'your account cannot be validated.'
But then like randomly a few weeks ago I got a voicemail.
It didn't ring.
No missed call in the history.
I call the voicemail and it said, 'your account cannot be validated.'
Then just a minute ago the voicemail alert starts going off on my phone.
It said I had six new voicemails!!
But no missed calls.
My brother calls my phone from his and it rang like once or twice and said. 'you have reached the cell phone number of...'
And he left a message.
But then I checked my phone && no missed call && no message.

Any ideas??

because same things happens 2 me
my boyfriend says he calls me one time && noone answers &&
it sends him to my voicemail
then he calls again && I answer
but it doesnt say missed call or anything
so yeaa its weird..
