I've learned that if you eat 3 small meals a day, all consisting of fruit, veggies, a little bit of lean meat and dairy...not so much on the bread and meat, this will help too. its great that you run for an hour at a time but try just going for 35 minutes of intervals, its much easier on a tredmill and it hardly feels like your doing anything...fun mail me if you need help!

Hi Stepping up, if you are happy to post your height and weight, someone will be able to give you some idea of how much weight you may need to lose.

Once you have some idea, you could start setting yourself small targets to meet every couple of weeks.

The problem with losing weight too quickly is that it can be unhealthy but more importantly, it can be put back on again twice as quickly and some!

Losing the weight is only half the battle, to keep it off you need to totally change your eating habits so that you eat healthily but only the amount of calories your body needs.

There is no way around keeping your body toned other than to exercise but not all exercise is just running around the block. I know it may sound hard at the moment but the more you exercise the more energy you will build up and the easier it gets.

Please dont go along the ana/mia route, no ones weight is worth them causing so much trauma to their body that can sometimes cause damage that will last a lifetime.

Don't worry...Sometimes things take time...and losing weight is one of those things. I have tried it before, and it took me about 4-5 weeks. now I look a lot better. It is just one of those things that you have to be patient with.
