We introduce each other "boy/girlfriend" but we need another word

Asked by fau 21 days ago, 2 answers.

We're both in our late 40's and feel that the boyfriend and girlfriend term doesn't fit us, and we do plan to get married but dont want to introduce or refer to each other as a fiancé. What would sounds more commited than just the boyfriend description...

but not engaged yet

you can always say my man and my woman. it's sounds more grown-up and it's like..more stable and shows a greater ownership of eachother. when u.r talking about eachother you can also say my partner..that's NOT juss for same-sex relationships ya know happy hope I helped.
