Waxing

Me :) May 23rd Asked by nora123 6 months ago, 4 answers.

So I waxed my bikiniline (like at home with products I bought from body shop) it was honestly like the most painful thing eveer. Did I do it wrong? Is it supposed to be sooo painful? I got like red/purple/blue bruiselooking rash-isj dry skin...

afterward.

Why did it turn out like that and what are some good ways of waxing?

wow I didnt know waxing down there would be that bad I was going to try it but I think your question has made me think twice lol. I dont think it was suposed to be that bad like make your skin go red/puple/blue. I understand the dry skin part I reccoment putting baby lotion on it or vaseline work wonders. thats what I use when I shave but maybe the reason it was so painful was because it was your first time waxing that hair and it was thicker. the hair gets thinner every time you wax so its easier to pull out and causes less pain. also your skin will get used to it if you keep doing it however its understandable if you dont want to wax that area anymore. I had no idea it would be that bad
hope I helped =)

I think you should've had it being waxed first why professionals that does it, have them teach you how to do it and so you know what to do the next time. me, up to now, I have my bikiniline being waxed at the spa I go to.. lol! I have no patience with it.. hehe!

You need to stretch the skin quite a bit when you pull off the wax strips. Its really tricky to do and yup, its more painfull if you do it yourself. Go to a proffesional. You may as well have a hairy bikini line if your covered in bruises down their.
Try aloe vera gel on the skin after it. The pro's use it to reduce swelling and cool down the burning sensation you get from having your hair ripped out.

The wax is ripping our multiple hairs, AND a layer of skin... yeah... it'll hurt...
