Well these past 2 weeks I have lost both of my glassses at school. One pair I left in the hallway. I cam back for them like 3 minutes l8ter but they were gone. My other pair I dont really know what happened. I got on the bus with them and I got off the bus without them. I dont remeber what I did with them. I know I sound really dumg but it was an accident! What should I tell my parents. Im scared thell yell and scold. I was thinking about making up a lie like someone stole them or some punk broke them.
the best place to keep your glasses... is on your face. I've been wearing glasses scince I was 5 now I'm 17 and I've never lost a pair. The worst thing that's happened to me with glasses is I got wapped in the head with a ball at recess, and they flew off. For several hours, they were nowhere to be found. Then they were found, after a kid stepped on them, and they were brand-new-not-even-a-week-old-yet. Bringing them to they eyedoctors, they couldn't believe what they were seeing. The frames were totally ruined, and no longer available. Oh well. Good luck teling them, because that's all you can do. If they get pissy tell them that you considered lying because the reaction that they gave you was expected. (blowing up).
tell em the truth. and keep the new ones ON YOUR FACE. I don't really need mine, but I keep them there because I would lose them. worst that's happened to mine is the lense popped out. in the dominican republic. in the eye I actually do need them for.
anyways, tell them the truth because lying just doesn't go over well, they always seem to know...
I suggest that you dont lie dont say some kid threw them or broke them or threw them because they might want to see the kid. seriously that´ll be a very big problem and then thel find out you lied and be TWICE as mad. just tell them the truth and do offer to pay for a new pair.
you could tell them the truth like liiltenor said huhmm.. maybe you can persuade them to let you get contacts...(btw- if youre afraid theyll fall out, thn get the kind you sleep in)
Don't lie it just tell them you learned your lesson and your going to be more responsible from now on and offer to pay for new glasses.
umm... just tell them thay somebody squished them or that somebody threw them out the window. it might work. Tina
and if they ask to see the remains of your glasses say they were so completely destroyed that you threw them out
tell them on the bus this guy named Jim Rodney took your glasses and threw them out the window!!!
tell your parents that they were stolen cus they might ask to see the remains of your glasses.
