there are various versions of the big bang theory, differently interpreted and believed by different people, the universe was created, but some people thought it was from a explosion, as I stated, the theory of the big bang.

Who are these people that think the universe began from an explosion? No scientist, at least no credible scientist, believes the universe began this way. The Big Bang was NOT an explosion. If it was, then the universe would have a definite center point and definite edges An explosion has an expanding, spherical shell of debris. The universe doesn't have a center or edges, and its expansion is described in much more complex terms. The universe also has properties such as curvature of space-time which could not be explained by an explosion.

Why is it that when evidence is posted describing the Big Bang, or evolution, theists and creationists here gloss over it? It's frustrating. It seems you would rather stick to the simplistic, watered down science postulated by evangelical seminaries than actually attempt to learn a new way of looking at things.

I believe the universe is uncreated, and I believe humans ARE apes. Humans and the other apes evolved from common anscestors.

By the way, plenty of Christians accept evolution, so the two are not mutually exclusive, nor are they they only possibilities.

No, god isn't real.

I know they arent the only possibilities, but I assume that they are some of the most common considdered possibilities.
So you believe that the universe has always been existing...

I dont believe in the big bang either,
because the universe was apparently created by an explosion, the universe is everything so this explosion came from nothing!
An explosion needs oxygen, fuel(explosive material) and fire, all of which is found IN the universe, which -what they believe- wasnt created yet!
It just doesnt make sense 2 me...

beans: You misunderstand the Big Bang theory. There's an excellent FAQ here: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/astronomy/bigbang.html#misconceptions

In short:
- The Big Bang theory explains the development of the universe, not how it began.
- A chemical (combustion) explosion is hardly the only sort of explosion possible. The big bang theory is not about a chemical explosion.

If you're going to disbelieve something, it helps to make sure you understand what it is first.

As evolution, it can be interpreted differently among different people, some people believe that evolution was dirrectly the transformation from apes to humans, others believe apes are just older ancestors/relatives, while others believe that apes were just a version in between the evolution from micro-organisms to humans.
Its just different opinions, no ones can be proven right or wrong.

Ok, Big bang theory has already been declared false.

Really? Please share where you found this out. It's news to me. Who declared it false, aside from Young Earth Creationists?

I am a Christian, and I do not believe that our ancestors were anything but human. I believe in creation, and the bible. I also believe that when God spoke things into existance, that quiet possibly is the big bang, that everyone makes so much of.

There was nothing, then, things came into existance, at Gods command.

Silverwings, and what exactly is your expertise that enables you to dismiss the overwhelming consensus of the scientific communiy that we did in fact evolve from primates? Are you a scientist, or are you well read in the subject?

If you are going to make comments about the validity of well accepted scientific facts, then you better be able to back it up with some facts of your own.

If you can't, some might actually accuse you of just being another ignorant religious zealot.

As I have said in my other comments on this subject. There are no well-documented scientific FACTS. Those facts violate every physical law that science is founded on.

But…. I may have missed something! Please give me an example of your well-documented scientific facts.

Like you expect anyone to believe you Elone, inspite of the scientific communiy? I don't, mostly because in my opinion conspiracies are brainchildren of nut jobs.

silverwings, the Big Bang theory doesn't say There was nothing, then, things came into existance Earth didn't form till billions of years later and life took millions to evolve.

The Big Bang theory is not declared false, because it conforms to laws of physics. It could have happened another way, though.

I believe in science.

I don't believe God is real.

What do you believe?

What I believe!

I don't believe in Heaven! I do believe in reincarnation! (Rebirth of the soul in another body.)

I believe that everyone is part of the spiritual composition/soul of God. The purpose of everyone is to go forth into the earth plane and other planes to experience and to ultimately gravitate back into the Oneness of God.

Along their paths of experience/knowledge acquisition, many entities (the spiritual particles of God) choose to enter (incarnate/reincarnate) the earth plane with various goals as purpose.

When the entity's physical body dies the entity goes back to a state or plane of existence where it considers its immediate past. It judges whether it accomplished those goals that it set out to accomplish and determines in which plane and under what circumstances it may need to incarnate in order to accomplish additional goals on its way back to the Oneness of God.

Essentially, the entity is its own judge as to accomplishments, failures, goals and the circumstances under which it chooses to incarnate.

The above is my opinion and is expounded upon in my treatise A Search For Truth:

Silverwings, it is not a religious question, it is a science question. If you want to believe in the supernatural, fine, that is your opinion. But don't expect to not be chalenged when you try and refute scientific fact. Saying you don't believe in evolution, is like saying you don't believe in gravity.

You won't dare peek outside your supersticious belief system, because you might learn something that proves things are not as you think they are.

The world is much more than an ancient book written by men to explain things they didn't understand.

elone, I have seen your prior posts on the subject. To say the least, I am not impressed. If you need to start somewhere with learning something about evolution, I suggest origin of species. After that I think a simple search will give you all the answers you need. You just have to accept those answers and that your beliefs may not be true.

jimahl:
what is to learn? Evolutionists say life came from inorganic matter. Timedidit! If we did 'evolve' from simple to complex, how do you account for man having 46 chromosomes and the radiolaria has over 800? My belief says they were intentionally created that way. How does your belief explain it?

Evolution is still the answer. Man only needs 46 chromosomes so that is what he has. Radiolaria needs 800 so that is what it has.
There are algae the need up to 140 so that is what they have.
