Will I get kicked off the team?

well..this morning I had a football game, we were supposed to be down to the school at 830...no one was going to be home to take me, so my friend was going to pick me up. so he called round 8 and said hed be here in about 15 minutes. So I turned to the tv, and layed down...next thing I know I hear the phone ring and its my friends mom she asked me what happened I looked at the clock and it was quarter after 9!...so I couldnt tell what to do...so I had her tell my friend to tell the coach I was sick and I couldnt call because I dont have the coaches number. now my question is, do you think I will get kicked off teh team for missing a game? on JV level? I can understand if I have to do conditioning after practice and nto get to paly nexct game, but do you think I would get kicked off the team?

You cant get kicked off a team for being sick.
Explain to the coach that You were not feeling good,And didnt sleep well the night before.
And Tell Him That You Felt It was better to stay home,Rather than be Sloppy on the field.

in my opinion, it appears, you got your Mom and your friend to lie for you - as far as getting kicked off, the degree of punishment, if any, would be at the discretion of the coach...Good luck !!
