Washed ipod + un-cooked rice = (y)?

k some people that I know, got their ipod washed in the washer, and they put it in like un-cooked rice and it worked...is this true? I wanna try it sad

Yess its true I droped my phone in a pool and everybody told me to put it in uncocked rice and it worked just put the ipod in the uncocked rice because it obsorbs all the water let it sit there for a few days or a week and it should work again

yea I ve read so, remove the battery and leave in the rice grains(uncook) its suppose the absorb the moisture or somethin, worked for my phone...
