get a really hot drink and burn your tongue then you wont be able to taste or feel anything happy

the only thing I can tell you is to focus on the knowledge that the wasabi burn doesn't last very long- it gets very hot then goes away, that is what I focus on when ever I eat it.

It's too late to answer but try to use an ice cube next time or any spicy food contest. Before the contest rub your toungue with an ice cube. It neutraizes the taste buds and nerve ending for awhile.
