How to get rid of bruises quickly?

I had a fight with my boyfriend and I have some dark bruises on my face. Make up isnt covering it and I want to know if there is a way to get rid of bruises quickly? Or a better way to hide them?

Dump him! Don't take that stuff. It's wrong that someone can beat you up and you keep taking it. Stand up for yourself and kick him to the curb. It will never get better. It will only get worse. Leaches can suck the blood left behind that show up as bruises. Got any? It's okay to let your parents know you need help and get away from this monster. I mean it. Don't make excuses for him and don't believe it when he says he'll never do it again.

-get green tea bags abd wet them with warm water and apply to the bruises.
-let soak into skin for 15-20mins.
-remove tea bags and wash face.
*Repeat three times daily.
-morning, between 4pm 6pm, and before bed.

me22, I'm so sorry that you are having these problems. The concealer makeup may work, but that is the least of your problems. You have had an abusive boyfriend(s?) for at least 4 months. And also pregnant (still?). You need to seek some help. Based on the fact that you accept abuse from your guy, I suspect that you had a chaotic time growing up.
If you want things to get better, get some counseling.

Unfortunately for tons of women, telling her to get out of an abusive relationship just scares her even more. They're afraid to leave for fear that their partner will find them and hurt them even more. Of course, there are many other reasons. Most of it is psychological.. because even a smart woman who knows what she SHOULD do, WON'T because of this fear that's eating away at her.

I can tell you to dump him, because an abusive relationship of any kind is no good, but I know that you're probably afraid of what he might do to you if you do leave him. First, I'd find a place that he doesn't know of (other family member's house or something, perhaps a friend's place? One that he doesn't know the location of?) Break up with him, and stay there for a while. As another person said.. bruises will go away on their own, and you can use make-up, but that really IS the smallest of your problems here. By breaking up with him, you're showing him that you're the bigger person and you won't take his nonsense. Just be sure that after you do so, you have somewhere safe you can go. Even contact the police if you still don't feel safe.

Okay the question wasn't about her relationship was it..

But I had a fight last night, and my face is horrific. major swelling and bruising.
I have my driving test, university and work all week so I need to get rid of it quick or be able to hide it.

I've been recommended ice or cold flannel on my face to reduce swelling.
Obviously I'll put loads of foundation on but is there anything I can do?
