Volleyball tryouts

I'm trying out for my middle school volleyball team. What do you do in volleyball tryouts? Do I need to be able to do an over hand sever, if I can do an underhand serve?

I just made varsity volleyball yesterday and I am the only freshman on the team. But you should be able to pass the ball to your setter and control were the ball is going your aproach up to spike the ball your coach is probly looking for someone that is willing to try to get to the ball even if you dont hit it or make it over the net they need people that they can work with.And just try your best.And you have to be able to over hand serve.

Try to see if you can go into your school gym at lunch and practice your basics. Or practice at home outside. Your coach will love anyone who is good at bumping, setting and serving is HUGE at middle school level!
