Volcano at yellowstone

is this true?... Yellow Stone National Park's volcano can blow at anytime and when it does, the smoke will go over and cover everything, and the smoke will be there for days, weeks, maybe year, and it will block out the sun's rays and it will drop some...

temp, and we cant grow and food, and we would die?? I dont believe that we would die, but bout the smoke and food thing would it be true and how long it would last???

There is a potential for a super volcano to blow in that area sometime in the next 100,000 years; or not. Science is still trying to understand how volcanoes work. If it were to blow, it has the potential to be devastating. There have been 3 super eruptions there in the past. The three occurred 2.1 million, 1.3 million, and 640,000 years ago.
If there were another super eruption it would undoubtedly change farming for years to come.
But vulcanologists are keeping a close eye on it.

Yes, one the largest active volcanos know to man, is under Yellowstone Park. When it blows, it will likely be classfied as a super eruption, and the results could be devastating for millions of people, depending o which direction thet wind is blowing, and the current weather at tje time of the eruption. Basically, all of what you heard as possible results, are true to some degree. TC Don
