I have a virus and need to redo everything. You know, make my computer start from scratch. How do you do that?

This is called formatting. You need to have a windows XP (or Vista, whatever your running at the moment) which is the installation CD you got when you first purchased your computer (assuming you got the CD with the computer). Otherwise, you can either purchase another installation CD (which can be costly) or you can download it (which is illegal, and you will need a crack - something to unlock the CD so you can install windows)...

Also, you will need to backup all the files you want to keep (like photos, documents etc) on to a CD (usually more than one CD though, depending on how much stuff you have)...

Anyway, hope that gave you a bit more help Good luck.
