It appears that in order to persuade young women not to engage in sex and intercourse our society has employed scare tactics. Society has tried to make teens fearful of their first experience by leading them to believe it will be painful and bloody. If you know it will be so, you are less likely to do it, or so some believe; the powerful influence of sexual desire is often overlooked. While a woman's first experience with intercourse can involve some pain and bleeding, it is not as bad as we are often led to believe. While most women do experience some pain or discomfort, it is rarely extremely so. In any event, pain is an indication that something is wrong.
About fifty percent of women experience some bleeding the first time, or the first couple times, they have intercourse. The cause of this bleeding is usually the tearing of their hymen. Sometimes, the vaginal wall or vulva can be injured and this too can result in some bleeding. There is usually very little bleeding, a tablespoon or less (In comparison, about four tablespoons of blood are lost during each menstrual period.) On rare occasions, there can be a lot, but this is the exception and women should not expect this to happen to them. There may appear to be more blood loss than there actually is as the blood will mix with the vaginal lubrication and sweat that are present.
The way to avoid pain and bleeding is to slowly and gently stretch the hymen and vagina prior to engaging in intercourse. It seems if the normal course of sexual development occurs, the hymen would be slowly and painlessly dilated long before intercourse occurred for the first time. A woman can do this herself using through exploration of her genitals and masturbation or with the help of her partner.

im pretty young and im ashamed to say I lost my virginity.it did hurt , but not like cry my eyes out hurt , but like ouchee hurt.also I studied about sex 4 a while before I did it...so make shure you know what your doing before you try it.and dont b so eager to lose it...bkus with a condem or not you can get pregnant and if your wondering if sex hurts you wont handle giving birth.
I don't know why virginity is treated like a disease that you need to get rid of as soon as possible. When I was younger girls around me were getting pregnant and I told myself that I was never going to be like them. They all just did it because they didn't want to be virgins, they probebly didn't care anything for the guys they were with and my best friend said when she did it, it hurt so much and she didn't have sex agian for 5 years by then she felt emotionally ready. I myself didn't feel ready until I found someone who I truely wanted to do it with and for. I lost my virginity on my wedding night, I was 25 and I was still scared but I trusted him and I knew he would help me. Unlike my friend who didn't enjoy her first time in the least this was the most magical night of my life we were so intune with eachother that the pain almost went un-noticed I knew it was there but it didn't matter. My advice to all young girls don't feel pressured by society, if waiting for marriage isn't for you (because it's not the answer for everyone) then definately wait for someone you know and care about, someone you trust and more importantly wait until your ready. I'll not lie mostly the first time hurts but if the pain is replaced by something else then it is much better. I was IN love with my first and only lover and I never want anyone else I lost my virginity when I was an emotionally mature adult and I am in no way ashamed to admit that I was 25 when it happened because it was the best decsion I ever made.
okay my opinion..is that you shouldnt do it until YOUR readyy..not when your parents or frans say your ready.go bye your internal judgement.when you have kids..all you can do is educate them and protect them..and hope for the best..cause either..your gunna be the parent.who has the kid and comes home and tells you all about it and that they wanna be saffe or your gunna be the parent who is strict andf with the child who goes against you behind your back and turns up pregnant..ya know..personally.it hurt..butnot after it was in..then I was allright..and then it was so good..that I was shaking..but you gotta be with the rite person..you gotta protect your kids but trust them enough to be able to train them and let them go..and trust them enough to know theyyll do the rite thing..and if your a good parent they will...like my mom dad.
I lost my virginity today. My love and I had sex a couple of times. There was absolutely no pain for me. It was amazing. We went slow and fast and hard. I didn't have any pain or bleeding.
everyone is different wait till your about 16 and feel ready then go for it because everyone on here has different oppinions soo theres no point in taking any notice because it could hurt or it could not you never no untill you try but just wait till your ready and with a good nice guy dont just loose it to anyone first time is amenta be special. xx
