Vinyl tiles

after measuring the sq. footage of a room how do I determine how many boxes of tiles I'll need to buy? Each box contains 12 tiles * says 12 sq. feet. Does that mean that each box of 12 tiles covers 12 sq. feet?

1 sq foot per tile... yes thats exactly what it means, 12 tiles will cover 12 sq feet...

Buy 10% more than you need for mistakes when you cut the tiles. And you may want to keep a few extra in case you want to replace some damaged ones later. The color lots of later made tiles will not match the ones you bought from another color lot.

and yes the 12 tiles will cover 12 square feet.
