Video posted up on youtube cause suspension?

So these two girls from my school posted up a video on YouTube. They talked sh*t about people that they thought were b*tchs and asshol*s. It was really mean. And like it's been up for a week now... most of the people they talked about are from my class....

They talked sh*t about the whole entire cheer team, basketball, football and baseball team. Which is like all the popular people. For sure, they're going to get their asses kicked on Monday.
My question is... can they get suspended for this? Or something? Or sued? Like if someone brought it to the principal? I know them... and we used to be friends. So I guess I'm kinda worried about them. Even though... they would totally deserve it cz it's like the stupidest thing you could ever do.

It's possible it could hurt their college chances if they've applied - nowadays they review sites like facebook, myspace, youtube, etc and may reverse acceptance - it reflects very badly on them.

im pretty sure something can happen because these guys video taped me because he thought I was hot posted it on youtube? my boyfriend showed the priciapal and he got suspended lol I know that's not exactly the same but you cant post anything like that on youtube...of course and even if the school wont do anything about it im sure a parent would

it depends on how many people saw it. if school officials saw it they could get in trouble. a couple of my friends posted bad things about oour principal on myspace and they were suspended
