Vaginal odor

I have vaginal odor but it's where my pubic hairs is.I take showers I eat right but the problem is getting out of control and I don't know what to do.

I have had an odor on the outside of the vagina for a while. I have been going to a man gynecologist for 3 months trying to solve this odor problem. my last visit he so kindly told me I might have to live with this odor. he ruled out yeast infection and bv. my discharge came back normal. then I decided to go to this woman doctor I knew. when I bathe that morning before going to see her I only used water so that she could smell what I smell. she could smell a slight odor but not in the way when I wiped my hand down there it would be stronger. she suggeted that maybe my vagina was not producing enough acid. she recommended a gel called relagard. its only by prescription. you can look it up on the internet. for some reason no one suggests this solution to the vaginal odor problem. so far my odor has has diminished and I'm truly grateful my doctor thought to try this.
