Some people look at it in two different ways. If you no longer have an existing hymen than you are not a virgin and others feel that if you have had sexual intercourse than you are a not a virgin. Some girls are born with and without hymens and some girls may tear their hymen doing strenuous sports such as gymnastics. For this reason I tend to consider the second reason to most reliable and the one that makes most sense. If you have never had sexual intercourse where the man has entered you than your still a virgin. Again, I want to stress that different people believe in different things.

Virginity is more of a spiritually state than a physical one. Usually the misconception is 'if she doesn't bleed, she's not a virgin' this couldn't be more wrong. Many woman tear or break their hymens from tampon usage, mas*urbat*on, physical activities and some are born without one. In western culture a virgin is someone who has not engaged in intercourse. So you can be a virgin and not have a hymen.

um im not really sure what a 'hymen' is but
if you are refering to your 'cherry' then yes.
it is possible to 'pop your cherry' when using
a tampon but either way when you do have sex in the
future dont think that its not going to hurt or
anything because it stil will from your tissuing riping.
