I've been going threw the questions on this site, and I have noticed a lot of questions that date like a long time ago... 2008? do these questions ever get deleted? What if they have gotten the response that they needed, does the question still stay...

yep. the questions stay on the site.
none of the questions are deleted..unless it violates the terms of use

The whole point of keeping them around is so that there is a body of work that can be searched. (Look at the top right of this page.)
