Untreated vaginal tear lead to tss?!

Asked by poko about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

I think I might know the answer to this question but will untreated vaginal tears lead to toxic shock syndrome? I might have a vaginal tear for a year-2 years now (MIGHT) and I have not seen a doctor (unable to, don't ask why). I'm really scared I'll get tss so I don't know what to do.

There is NO reason why you can NOT see a doctor. Vaginal tears don't necessarily come from having sex, and if you're underage you should still be getting yearly exams, therefor you need to talk to your parents or another adult and GO SEE A DOCTOR ! Women need to be examined yearly to avoid complications with fertility as well as to check for things like ovarian and cervical cancer as well as STD's. If nothing else then go to the Health Department and see what can be done, that is all I have to say about this and I have no information on vaginal tears leading to TSS.
