I never see my boyfriend anymore, should i date someone else?

Hey, how are you?
Here's my question.
I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 5 months I love him to death! he's done so much for me. But, this is my second year in high school, and he's a senior.. next year he'll be out of school, we barley see...

eachother at school, my grandparents are totally aginist the fact he's way older than me (3 years) Anyways, we dont have any classes together (doesn't suprise me) and I have classes with this other guy, thats been talking to me all summer, I didnt think I liked him until recently, he walks me to my classes and my current boyfriend doesn't because I never see him, (seniors leave school earley) I love my boyfriend to death, and could see myself marrying him..
but, a little part of me is liking that one kid, A part of me think's my boyfriend would be better cause he's done way more for me than probably any other guy would do, and another part of me is starting to like this one guy that I see every single day?!

I don't know what to do.
I've asked my best friend about it, but all she said was.
play it by ear when thats all I've been doing the whole time.

please help me.

Since you say that you love your boyfriend to death, I think that you should try to concentrate on him. I know that it's hard that he isn't around much, but it seems that you have a clear picture of the person that you truely want to be wih- your boyfriend.
Because your boyfriend isn't around as much as you'd like him to be, this other boy is. That's why you are starting to like him- because he's there. He gives you the attention that you desire...

If I were you, I'd be friends with this new kid, but I wouldn't risk loosing my current relationship. I suggest you sit down with your boyfriend and discuss your future plans (him going off to college and how's that going to change things). Let him know what's on your mind because no one can read your mind. If you don't tell him chances are that he will not know how you feel. Based on what you've said, it seems that the communication between the two of you is in good standing. Which mean that together you will find a way to work around it.

As far as your grandparents go, don't ignore what they are saying to you, but at the same time, make sure they understand who he really is. Your grandparents love you and they don't want to see you get hurt. That's perfectly normal. It's expected. Don't hate them for that. Be glad that you have somone who cares about you.

You seem like you already know what you want to do, but before you jump to any decision have a one-on-one with yourself. Only you know what you truely feel and who makes you happier.
