Uninstall versalsoft??

omg I have this 1 thing called versalsoft internet download and I reaaly need 2 remove it but I cant... I only see it on my taskbar but I cant delete it. I went to controll panel and it wasnt there and I searched it on my computer but it couldnt find...

anything. . please someone help!

Not sure if you have been able to take care of this nuisance or not but after searching around I found something that I think finally helped. Go to Start menu and double click on my computer, then double click on Local Disc C, look for Program Files, double click that and scroll down until you see an icon that says Uninstall and double click on that and I was peeved so I typed in a nasty comment (you'll see that they prompt you for feedback) Restart your computer and go back in to the program files and back to Versalsoft as there will still be some files there, Select them all and delete the studid things and then immediatly empty your recycle bin. I had the very same problem with the malware. I was able to get rid of it using HiJack This software. Its free. It prints a check list of everything on your pc. You then just check what you want to remove and it does it for you..Sounds dangerous but it's not...just takes time...but everything you need to delete contains the word versalsoft in its description. I think I only had to delete 4 lines and it was gone. hope this helps

All I did to get rid of Versalsoft was click on «start», then on «all programs», then on Versalsoft and then on «uninstall». It did uninstall itself within seconds. The part I was less comfortable with was that the computer needed to be rebooted for the action to be completed. I took the risk and clicked ok and the computer did reboot, and Versalsoft appears to have been totally removed from my computer. I have since been able to download Windows Defender and Windows Media Player 11 without any problems. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. Did the Hijack thing. No luck. Did the Malware thing. No luck. I still get the pesky message that wants me to upgrade to the pay version of Versalsoft download. Any other help, please!
