Try eating more complex carbs and protein. This will help you gain the weight. You shouldn't link your mom's habits with how and what you eat. Just make sure even if she doesn't eat that you do. Also try talking to your mom about improving both of your eating habits if you can.
HEY..
I'm 14, I'm 5'3 and I weigh 93 pounds too!
Anyways, I was trying to gain weight to, and I found out [ Depending on your body type ] that the food that you don't gain when your in your early teens, all add up when your older, I don't mean to sound mean but some skinny people like us try to gain a bit of weight by eating more and
that MIGHT cause you to be a little chubby when your older but that only depends, sooo no worries. If you want to add some muscle and get toned do what feline1 said up there that will help, but still eat your breakfast * Lunch * supper everyday, and to get that into muscle walk somewhere or exercise, anything that has to do with moving around and being active helps a lot.
GOODLUCK XOX
Just let it go! If you've been trying really hard to gain weight, but still can't, that means that your at your natural weight and are healthy as you are. 93lbs may be low for some people, but not you, because it's in your nature to be thin. You'll get some curves as you get older anyway.
