Underaged drunking?? =(

My ex boyfriend told me he hooked up with a guy when he was drunk the other night. HES 12! I just realized these past couple weeeks thats a bunch of kids in my grade drink!!! What are these kids doing with their lives? It makes me want to cry to think...

of their precious lives going to waist. It was so sad, he said he was hung over for 3 days. Im like, its because you 5'0'' and 90 pounds! What can I do, I feel horrible!

That's actually not that uncommon of a thing, is it? Boys experiencing with each other early in life. Weird. o_O

You are not alone, and yea it is sad. These guys are doing it to fit in. He is trying to act cool by saying he was hung over for three days. Unless he has chronic liver failure, that is medically impossible. I am a doctor in Canada. Your liver and kidney's filter out alcohol within 8 hours, unless you consume too much - which would result in alcohol posioning. There is a reason why you are not supposed to drink under 21. It is because your organs have not matured enough to be able to handle alcohol. Trust me, by choosing not to drink - you are saving yourself from a lot of potential problems. Underage drinking has been studied to be a cause of
- poor school grades and hence, less chance at being admitted to college
- liver failure
- liver cancer
- heart problems
- sleeping disorders
- alcohol dependancy

be strong, 12 is way to young to be worrying about this issue. Ditch these guys and find yourself a friend you can do make-overs with.

Meggs is right, he was probably lying to be cool, because i know a lot of people who do that too. At our ages that's what people do. They try to fit in and be cool. But don't worry about it. If it bothers you, TELL HIM. Or just forget about it and try to find someone who doesn't drink. I am one of the few in my grade who don't drink. I don't like the taste of it anyways..it taste pretty nasty.

Like i said just don't worry about it! He's the one screwing up his life, not you. You don't want those kind of people around. There's probably a good chance he was lying about being drunk anyways, considering the fact he was lying about being hungover for 3 days. Just remember not to get peer presured into ANYTHING (like drinking) that you don't want to do.
