Uh oh?

Asked by annonomus 9 months ago, 3 answers.

Ok so I was being kind of dumb and was playing with my dad's Laser light thing *I turned it on and moved it around and my cat was chasing it*. Well, I noticed on the side of it, it said Avoid direct contact to the eyes. Well, when I was moving it I...

think it MIGHT have hit my eyes. I wasn't pointing it right smack at my eyes and if it DID hit my eyes, it was a complete accident. If it did hit them it was probably a quick flash by that lasted a few seconds. That couldn't have caused any damage could it because now I'm scared I might go blind or something!

They are dangerous but if you didn't notice a difference you're probably okay, I play that with my cats too and I've accidentally done the same thing dozens of times and my eyes are completely fine.

Oh that's such a good thing to hear! And no, my eyes aren't hurting at all and my eye sight is pretty much exactly how it's always been. So I guess I'm alright? Thanks again for your help.

It's like looking directly at the sun for an instant, but less powerful. If you don't notice any problem you re fine.
