think for a moment, how long has this been going on? how many times have you tried to stop it? has it ever stopped? that last one should be no, because to my knowledge there is no medication, no therapy, no resisting that can hold your period, then again maybe a girl should respond *shrugs*

Just use tampons and make sure you change them regularly so you dont get any toxic problems. You will still have a cool trip. Have a great time. xx

Don't you know that you always get your period when your going somewhere or doing something fun?
Of course, use Tampons and be glad you have a period. What if you were my age (54)? I don't have to worry about my period anymore but now I'm old, lol

You can not stop it. And you must not let yourself feel bad that you have periods. you must feel great about htem and appreciate that God made oyu able and capable of some day being a mother and that is a joyful experience fomr most who approach it with the right atitude. In the mean time be abstinent realize God has created a man one boy who is growing up to be a man who is going to be your delight and your sex partner for life if you approach this all in the proper way.

Can you change the trip? Are you a teen? Life is difficult. then we need to be in charge of ourlife and how it goes as much as possible.

You can stop periods if you're on birth control. You just skip the placebos pills and start a new pack.

If you aren't currently on BCPs then there is no way to stop your period. starting them now would have no effect on a period already going on - but you can delay and skip future periods.

Dear Sikashimmer,
It is very unwise to 'advise' someone to not follow their prescribed medication as directed by their doctor. A females hormones levels are designed to fluctuate, and hormone birth control tablets take this into account by having the placebo for 7 days out of the 28. It can often be harmful to maintain a relatively constant level of progesterone and estradiol in the body. As a 2nd year pharmacology student, can I say that it's very unwise to tell anyone to miss out the placebo tablets for their medication. The people who make and prescribe drugs have many years of research and studying to fall back on, and so I think that it's the doctors and pharmacists advice you should follow.

Periods are just something that every woman has to put up with. Yes, it's annoying, but part of being human (well, female) I'm afraid.
