How can I handle this love triangle?

okay,

im basically in what I like to call.. a love triangle.

I really like this guy, who I've been friends with for over 2 years now.. I've liked him for a while..and for some reason I CANT stop liking him no matter what. we've been their for eachother through thick and thin, definatly.

... but hes really into my other best friend.
I mean, shes nice pretty and everything..

shes turned him down, twice already... and he wont give up..
I pretend me be happy for him cause hes really into her,
but I cant.. its a smile on the outside, tears on the inside.

the catch is, I've told him I liked him before, and he told my friend (who he currently likes) that he liked me during school..
but nothing happend...

but what should I do?
she says she doesn't like him in that way, and doesn't want to go out with him
I've tried getting over him, I just cant.

... any suggestions?

Look to be honest I think you should just be friends with your friend because if it goes wrong you Might fall out and the bad memories of the break up would over shaddow the

YEAH I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE FIRST ONE. JUST STAY FRIENDS SOON you WILL FIND ANOTHER GUY WHO ISNT AS CLOSE OF A FRIEND AND THAT WILL TAKE your EYE OFF OF your GUY FRIEND. MOST OF THE TIME WHEN you DATE A FRIEND IF IT DOESNT WORK OUT you END UP SEEING THAT you JUST RUINED A REALLY GOOD FRIENDSHIP TRUST ME BEEN THERE DONE THAT.

Ask him out, let him to 'cry on your shoulder', than tell him that you will comfort him. And do it.
