God is all powerful. He has no need of your money, and anyone who tells you otherwise is a scam artist - including probably your pastor. It's no coincidence that Christian pastors worldwide reject most of the laws of Leviticus except the law of tithing. They're all too quick to make a special exemption for that one!
You'll make a bigger impact on the world by giving to the needy than you will by giving money to a church.
yea that is gods will for you, it is for everyone...and everyone doesnt have to pay for their mystakes anymore do to the death of jesus...but the way to handle the money is to give ten percent to him, and trust me he'll pay you back with more then what you gave, he always has for me, whether its finding 20 bucks on the ground or me helping out with some easy work and makin 40 bucks
omfg you guys actually believe giving money to a money hungry organization that claims it is for god and god's will, will help you in the end...? Just because you give it for a good reason means that good things will happen yes but give it to an organization that will actually do some good in the world. Believe in god's values and morality instead of this new age capitalistic church.
He tells us in His word Christ came that we might have life more abundantly - just tithe - make sure you Honor Him first and poured out blessings will come your way - He forgets NOT His own !!
I'm sure God doesn't care about your money, as long as you didn't lie, cheat or steal to get it. I think God would be happy if we just love one another without judging. Besides, what is god going to buy?
Money is one of the most talked about subjects in scripture. I forget exactly how many times it's either mentioned directly or refered to but it's in the hundreds for sure.
Good stewardship relies on all our resources not just money. Time for example or relationships. We've all spent our money poorly at times no matter Christian or not. But, from the context in which you ask, biblically, we are told to manage our finances very carefully and wisely. Don't let legalism creep in, as it can and often does. If needed find a Christian financial advisor to help you as they often are an invaluable resource from which to draw. Read your bible carefully paying attention to the context of money. Third, pray often that God will continue to show you ways to use your money for His glory. We are allowed to have things and stuff and money as God blesses us. But, we then have a responsibility to pass it forward and not be consumed by greed.
Trusting God with your money is the next step for you. And I will let you in on a little secret... (to some, anyway) God is faithful.. to perform his word.
Read and study what he says about money.. and trust.
It will be time well spent.
If you have trouble finding the scriptures.. just ask, and we will help you with them.
God.. is the only institution... if you want to call him that.. that will not fail.
When times get hard.. he makes a way for his people.
Always has, alwasy will..
but, the key is trust.
I take my money and I throw it up into the air. What the Lord wants, he can grab.

Trusting god financially
I love god and Trust him in many areas in my life, Except when it comes to my money. I want to believe that his will for me is to be happy, joyous , and free, and that all good gifts are from his hands, but Lately I have made some decisions which in hind sight were selfish, and untrusting. Do I need to be willing to suffer the short term? what are the answers?
