Traping cats

my neighbor is trapping my cats and there is nothing that I can do leagaly. do any of you have any ideas as to what I can do to get him back?

What do you mean, he's trapping your cats? Like keeping them inside his house? That's illegal. You should be able to call the police. Why can't you?

he is trapping them and taking them to the pound and in the state of california I cannot do anything about it

uhm why wouldnt you be able to call the police? he cant trap your cats... they are yours, and they are not feril... so I don't know, call the local police dept.

yea they leave my yard. the state of california says that you can trp them if they are on ypur property. I can not call the police because he has the right to trap them.

keep your cats in your house, once they are outside cats there is really nothing you can do about it.

yeah, keep your cats inside then. Just be really really careful not to let them outside. Or, if your neighbor has any cats, trap them and show him how it feels.
