What is your opinion about the transformers movie 2007?

What is your opinion about the transformers movie 2007? (will be a sequel 2009)

it was GOOD I thought it would be stupid but it is very action packed

Omg Yes! I loved that movie there's going to be a sequel I can't wait. That movie had so much action I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. Damn I wish my car would transform like that ha.

um im not sure. I went for my friends birthday and I fell asleep so I couldnt tell you. sorry. but lets put it this way. I didnt fall asleep because I was tired. =/

Transformers was a great movie.. not sure about it having a sequel or not... I WANT A body like that bang-n hot chick in that movie though!!!

Damn, now I am going to show how much of a geek I am.

The movie itself I had reservations about because I was a big transformers fan when the original cartoon and toys came out in the 80's. I couldn't really see how Michael Bay would not screw it up since he gave us Titanic with Warplanes (Pearl Harbor). That having been said after I saw the movie I was rather impressed with it. I did not quite like at first how Bumblebee was no longer a Volkswagen but instead he was a Camero. After seeing the movie a couple times I decided that it was a better change.

There were a couple problems I did have with the movie however. Frank Welker was always the voice of Megatron in the Cartoons and in my childhood. Instead they got Hugo Weaving and modified his voice. That really did piss me off espically since they had the original voice actor for Optimus Prime whom was Peter Cullen. They could and should have used Frank's voice and given it a deeper modification like they did Hugo's. Although Hugo Weaving did a fantastic job, he just isin't Megatron.

It would of been great to have the original voice actor for Starscream also, since he was always my favorite. However they did a great job with him and so I was not dissappointed.

The Story itself was lacking in some parts but it was well done. The four things that really bugged me about the movie were...

1 - When the British woman slips into the closed briefing room and the security officer only taps on the glass. In real life she would never have been given the chance to enter.

2 - When they hotwire a computer to transmit a signal for morse code. All you would of needed to do was made a simple device with wires that when you put the wires together it would send a pulse.

3 - When the Secret Service officers enter the sub chamber on Air Force One where the computer bank is. One officer enters and then after a few seconds the other enters. A real stacking scenario would of had at least four officers entering one right after another.

ok so I lied there were really only three things that annoyed me about the movie. All in all I would rate it a 9 out of 10. I have the special edition of it and I usually watch it once a month just for fun.
