If you haven't already, go to a dermatologist to make sure it really is a keloid.
If it is a keloid it can be surgically removed followed by steroid injections to try to keep it from coming back. The risk of surgery is that if you get another keloid it may be larger than the one that was removed.
Keloids are one of the risks of piercing.
im pretty sure its a keloid. but if it wasnt...what would it be?
It could be an infection, a boil, or an ordianary but lhicker than usual scar.

how/what is the best way to get rid of a keloid on a piercing? because I've had one on my tragus and sometimes it goes away but then comes back.
