Some people do have a natural hot/cold sensitivity in some of their teeth. Also, if you've had a cavity before and had it filled that could cause tooth sensitivity.
As far as your chipped tooth goes, it depends on how severe the damage is. Minor chips and micro fractures generally aren't a cause for concern, but if the tooth chips and exposes the root of the tooth or the nerve, you can pretty much bet they'll repair it (because yes, they can fix it). Talk to you dentist about it.

I have a really bad tooth ache off and on it is chipped all the way in the back can they fix. and do people have sensitive teeth.
