Dear fau,
Sorry, but if it is shrinking you have more of a problem then you know. Your penis would not be shrinking. At 58 you also would be told by a doctor that having children at your age would increase the dangers of the baby being born with a disability. There have been women who have had children in their 40s and they are very high risk.
Sue...good luck

Wow only 3.5 inches. Is that considered a micropenis? My penis is 9 inches but I am 18 years old. I think there has been studies that men over the age of 40 who experience this shrinking, but it should only be a lttle shrinking. Unless your penis was extremely small to start out with like 4 or 5 inches then it is normal. If you had a normal sized penis like 8-10 inches and now it is 3.5 inches then I think you have a serious problem. It all depends on how large your penis was to start out with, but a little shrinking like an inch or two is normal for men over 40. It is a part of aging, though 3.5 inches does seem small. Try typing in micropenis. It might help. This is a condition where the penis basically reverts back to the same size as when a person was born. So a full grown man might revert back to a 4-5 inch penis, about the size he was born with (4-5 inches). Hope this helped.
