Hi,
It didn't really hurt when I got mine, it felt more like pressure. I couldn't even tell it had gone through until he said I was done. What hurt the most was the clamp before the piercing, because they have to squeeze your tongue flat before piercing it.
At first it felt like something foreign was stuck in my mouth. Then I got used to it. Now, I feel weird even if I'm without it for a minute.
I waited about 4-6 weeks before changing it. There isn't much need to change it anyways.

ii qot my tonque piierced iht diidnt even hurt but the qarqle stuff tasted really badd
