Tongue piercing.

I was thinking, should I get one? I mean, I do want one, but I'm not sure. My mum's okay with it. How bad does it hurt? If I open the stud, will the hole close? Or does it stay like that till whenever. If you were me, would you?

if your not sure if you should get one of not wait untill your totally sure about what you want.
and what do you mean if you open the stud? like if you take it out it will close within minutes

well I had my tongue pierced for two years it dodnt hurt getting pierced at all ...but when I took it out it was closed in an hour sooo the piercing was worth it I just had to take it out for my job ...so good luuck and hope I helped

Yeah I totally would, im getting mine done in the next couple of weeks...I wanted that and my tattoo done...I was TERRIFIED of the pain! my tattoo wasnt that bad I had my sons name and date of birth on my wrist so I thought I would be in agony, now I have the worst done im going to get my tounge done! If you dont like it you can always take it out like danimarie88 hers healed up in an hour! You wont know till you get it done.

I think you should go for it but PLEASE make sure the piercing studio is clean.
Check it out yourself and don't rely on what people say, because I did that and I regretted it.

The guy who pierced my tongue, hip and belly was supposed to be the best in town but when I went he pierced me in the corridor, didn't change his gloves everytime he touched my body and grabbed the jewelry with (gloved hands) instead of tongs. He should never touch the jewelry with his hands

If you do get it don't play with it because it can be annoying for others and for you when it becimes a habit. I HATE it when I see people sticking their tongues out like a frog. It's like they are trying to prove something.

Btw, the pain is practically non-existant, you just feel a slight pressure when the needle is inserted that's all. A tongue piercing takes around 4 weeks to heal. Don't take it out before that time becuase it closes up after about an hour or so. Once it has COMPLETELY healed it can stay 2 days the most. Oral piercings close very quickly becuase of all the saliva in our mouth
