To many different metal finishes in kitchen?

Asked by rhonnie 3 months ago, 1 answer.

I have a Kitchen/dining room with apple green walls, white cabinets, and some red accents. I originally wanted to have cast iron/black as the metal on the light above the table, curtain rods, etc but I do not like the look of black hardware on the cupboards. Can I use a brushed stainless steel or other matte silver hardware or is that introducing to many colors? (Note, I do not have stainless steel appliances - they are white)

Brushed metals or silver are neutral and can be used anytime, unless there is also brass, copper or gold finishes in the room already. Brushed metal is a great choice - easy to clean and hides scratches well.
